Marlo was terrible at naming his original works, wasn't he?

The Prouette Change IS Marlo's. It's another, shorter name for it, much like The Twirl Change (as Sankey has dubbed it). _________________ Michael Kras

Alright,
Here's a brief history of the evolution of one of the most iconic of the modern color changes.
Vernon publishes the Threw-the-Fist change. Essentially a face-up card, when pushed through the hand, changes.
Marlo, in an attempt to make the move more "open" (though, in fairness, I cannot say for sure what his intentions were) released In-lieu-of-the-through-the-fist change, in lieu meaning, essentially, "instead of". In both changes the cards start in the same positions (back to back) and the change occurs when the two cards are turned over. Marlo's version has become the standard, and it is often called the twirl change (because of the cover used).
At this point things get muddied. This is the version I believe.
Oscar Munoz comes up with, and begins showing around, the Pirouette change, which occurs at eye level. One handling though involves holding the cards by the corners and pulling with the other hand.
At about the same time Marc DeSouza published the Shapeshifter. There was some confusion over ownership at the time, but I believe both gentleman have worked things out- Oscar's handling, shown to Marc, was the inspiration (though they do share many similarities).
Both the Muno source and the DeSouza source were published in Beam's The Trapdoor, sometime in '93.
That, in a nutshell, is the brief history.
Now, here's the mad-hardcore trivia challenge, serious props if anyone gets it.
What MAJOR source is MISSING from the history? It's a MAJOR source.

Ah, you're right Ben, I was getting everything mixed up. Thank you for clearing that up. _________________ Michael Kras

No guesses?
I'll give you a hint- you KNOW the name of the move, but people often associate it with a later change (often seen on sankey's tapes...)
What's the change, and whose is it?
I've decided there's a prize!

Is this move The Illogical Double Lift? Was it published by Marlo? _________________ Michael Kras

My mistake, thank you Brian.
The only two colour changes I have known Jay to use in his tapes are The "Erdnase" Change and Marlo's "Twirl Change". Erdnase is not an inclusion on the list of back-to-back changes and I have known Sankey to use the Illogical Double Lift on occasion.
