Is there are really no holes or slits, then I'm impressed! It looks very magical!

ahem...
some mighty bold claims there my friend.

i know the method and i'll just say the box is far from examinable.
very far

Oh, well then, probably jumped to conclusions there.

If you end a certain way, it can be examinable.

I would have to see the method to make a final call, but I don't think you should share it with anybody yet... keep developing it into something even better.. it may even turn into something completely different over time!

The first time I watched the video I immediately said, "That's a lie." The effect is beautiful, but the claims can't possibly be accurate. Unless you have some miracle method that I've never heard of, I would be careful about making such bold claims.

i gotta say, no offense teddy, but as soon as i saw the method i was firstly disappointed, and second i put it away never to use it.
I'm not dissing the trick, if it works for you all power to you.
But the claims you made about no cracks or slits was kind of a loophole.
It kinda seems like the kind of trick made for a camera.
Show me a presentation for some people then i'll admit its a working method

I completely agree here. I thought it looked quite nice until finding out that things aren't what they seem.
Like I said, work with it!

Okay, I didn't say there were no holes or slits. I said there were no holes or slits in any of the sides. And no, there's nothing at the top. I don't know if you can figure out the method from that, but it really works well to a spectator.

I think the point is that many of us are mighty skeptical that this would even remotely go over for real lay people, let alone amaze them. You didn't show more than about 120 degrees of freedom in the angles, and there aren't any spectators. Film a couple genuine performances for lay people in a few different settings without any editing and we'll get a better idea of its potential.

i would say that is a very decptive pitch, setting up for a let down once the method is learned

That's a very deceptive condition. Technically, a side can mean any flat surface of the box, so that was very misleading.
|
Ben Train

First off all, nothing was misleading, as the effect was transparent.
You put the coin in the BACK. You don't show the BACK. You STARE at the back THROUGHOUT the video.
I wonder...
could it be that there's no back? A hole in the back?
Common...
For frugs sake- why are you guys posting videos? WHY?
|
Michael Kras

It does seem rather pointless to post most magic videos... like you've told me before, why put up videos for people to watch over and over and piece together the possible method? That's why I do not post anymore.
