How to be a Magician EXPOSEDHey guys, I'm embarking on a little project called "How to be a Magician EXPOSED", which will be a short series of videos for youtube.
These videos will NOT contain any magic exposure of any kind. They will target those who genuinely want to get into magic, but only use youtube exposure videos as their primary source of learning. The videos will highlight some fundamental ethical ideas in magic, such as exposure and reverse engineering, as well as giving people the information they need to move away from the rubbish found at youtube and other sites, and start learning magic properly.
I hope to make the videos entertaining, including some short clips of performances, and possibly some photos of audience reactions.
Would anybody else be interested in contributing to this project?

Well, it's a relatively loose idea at the moment. I believe that a good amount of the people who go around youtube looking for exposure videos are doing it because to them it seems the most logical way of learning magic as a beginner. I'll admit, almost two years ago, youtube was the first place I went when I decided I wanted to start learning magic (though thankfully there wasn't that much around, then).
I think it would be interesting to see how people take a video which doesn't tell them not to expose magic or look for magic exposure, but explains the benefits to them of taking an alternative approach, explaining that to become a real magician, you need to have a respect for the art.
I dunno, maybe it's a terrible idea...
