How Long?I plan to do a full D'lite routine on stage at my school's upcoming talent show. I first pluck the light out of a light bulb than do the manipulation with it. Two questions:
First, how long can you do a D'lite routine (complete with Penetrations, Vanishes, productions, multiplications, the works) before it gets redundant and boring?
Also, Do you know of a good finale I could use that still ties in with the theme of light?
Thank you!

Thirty seconds. Maybe a full minute if you're really good. But I have a personal bias because I've never enjoyed or been entertained by them. I know full well that most audiences love them, so take what I say with a grain of salt.

Well, when I used them to draw a crowd on Clifton Hill, I would do a routine that lasted around 2 min. Just long enough to entertain, but short enough to not bore them.
I would end the routine by taking a bow, lol.

That sounds like a perfect time... I also intended to have some other sutff mixed in like silk and bottle productions.

I have to be the one to say it: every time I see the title of this thread, my mind wanders to something else...

I think it mainly depends on your audience. I never actually used it in my act. I just used it to draw a crowd. Kids love it, and most adults find it entertaining for atleast a lil' bit.

We have finally made a decision. Reuben and I will be working together... we start with a comedy bit as an interlude into the main event. I start off with a two minute routine using silks and D'lites. Reuben comes on for two minutes and does a coin routine and a bottle production. We then do a Double Snowstorm routine together for the finale.
