Geek Magic!Do you perform any sort of geek stunts or geek magic? What do you use? What sort of reaction does it normally receive? How do you personally perform it?
I really don't do much geek magic myself... Even though people know I'm a magician, it feels like most geek magic is too realistic to be passed off as an illusion or trick... mainly because there's no reason that geek magic can't REALLY be done! Ben Train and I discussed this a bit, the focal point being Drinking Spit... people aren't going to jump and think of ways you could REALLY be doing it, they are going to accept that you really are drinking their spit!
One I am working on, however, is Blockhead, and that's just for the shock factor. If you are unfamiliar, it's essentially just hammering a nail, Q-tip, stirstick, or other long object into your nasal cavity... ALL THE WAY IN. It looks sick and it even feels sick (I'm not used to the feeling yet at all), because there is no secret method really.... you actually do hammer a nail all the way into your nasal cavity! And this isn't any prissy little wall nail on which you'd hang a picture, this is like a mini railroad spike!
Ok, geek magic discussion... begin...... NOW.

I do wayne houchins "thread" to lighten the mood in my sets. I just do it for the laughs and ews it receives. Now this, unlike alot of geek magic, is impossible. Wich makes it more magical, but its still considered a stunt

Hey Liam,
Done right no one should suspect that you are doing anything BUT the real thing- which you ALMOST are anyway.
There's nothing magic about Thread.

So you're saying that i should completly seperate it from my magic, and just make it a disgusting stunt?
