Competition Today!Hi Everyone!I'm off to Waterloo tonight to compete in the Poolside Close-Up Competition! I've prepared an 8 minute act with a photography theme using Printing, A Transposition of a blank card and a face card with appropriate patter, and even some original effects with a photo theme! The competition went amazingly! I won Second Place! What an excellent night. I was the youngest there by far and also probably the least nervous too. I'm glad people liked my act and am very happy with it. Finally a magic award! Michael |

Actually, I got a very high quality video filmed. I am however away from home this weekend and as soon as I get home I will upload the video. I am anxious to see it myself! |

Michael, that was an excellent routine. Your presentation was solid, your sleights were perfect, and people seemed to really enjoy themselves. Instead of being focused on "frying" people, you simply presented your magic in an enjoyable fashion. I look forward to finally meeting you in person at MAWNY this coming weekend. |
