Cards, Coins, Thoughts, and Theories Part 1 by Brian MillerCCTT PART ONE BY BRIAN MILLER
Young magician Brian Miller is no doubt one of magic's rising stars. His first product release, entitiled Cards, Coins, Thoughts, and Theories reflects this with three wonderful worker's routines and a thought-provoking essay.
The ebook is very well writtten and produced with crystal clear colour photos can an easily navagatable layout. It begins with a brief introduction by Miller, and then we enter the three effects. Brian shares two coin effects and one card effect, all of which are real worker's pieces and can be performed virtually anywhere. My review of each effect is below.
Illusionary Coins: A three coin production. This is very smooth, very visual, and a perfect opener into a coin routine. Very clever thiniking behind this. ****
SandTrap: A Sandwich effect which also includes a startling transposition. I love Sandwich effects, and this is the perfect effect to add in to my repertoire. I love this effect! *****
Copper Silver Simple: When I saw Brian perform this on Youtube before the ebook's release, I loved the clever concept behind it. What a bizarre take on a classic plot! Instead of an instantaneous coin transformation, the coin transforms a little bit at a time! This is a very visual effect. *****
After these three stellar effects, we move on to a wonderful essay on the importance of presentation. This is well thought-out and a very enjoyable read. It also contains very useful tips in presentation and is a great essay for any magician of any skill level to study. This concludes the 15 page ebook.
Overall, this ebook is awarded a 9/10 by myself. Brian's extensive knowledge of magic is a joy to read, as well as his great worker's routines. Highly recommended!
