Hey everyone!
My dad says he is willing to take me to a magic convention this year!
but being fairly new to magic, i dont really know where to go...
where and when is an exciting confention going on?
i can basically go to were ever it is....
so ya!
the longer probably the better, but i dont really know

so what exciting convention is going on this year?

Ethan, Brian, Reuben, and I will be at the MAWNY Conention... it is one day in Batavia, New York and it is a blast! So many celebrities, and this is a great underground convention!

but i dont know how my dad would feel about me taking a bus from one coast to the other for a one day thing
but i will ask him
do they have a website or place to resgister setup?

The whole thing is kept rather under wraps, but don't worry... as a previous MAWNY attendee they send me all of the information in the mail.

I'll ask you guys this: anything in particular you guys would like to see from me in a 10 minute close up act? Cards? Coins? Bills? Anything? I haven't finished crafting the act quite yet, so I'm open to suggestions.

Any real suggestions? Throw 'em at me. I was planning on just doing 10 minutes of good card stuff to keep it simple.

Perhaps I should perform one of my monster coin routines: The Un-Midas Touch. I'll have to think about how that will play for an audience (even though the venue is technically close up).

Hey guys, I'm most likely not gonna make it to MAWNY this year. I have 5 things I have to do that day and I'm saving for a Canon XL2 and I need all the money I can save to put towards it. But I hope you guys have tons of fun, and good luck with your performance Brian. You never know I may stop in for a few hours I may not, it all depends on what happens.
