"It's a Trick Deck!"How do you feel when someone says this to you? Insulted? Complimented?
I, personally, feel complimented... to me it means I've done my job smoothly, invisibly, and performed the stuff spectators want to see. In fact last night I performed a few card effects for a woman, and as I was about to leave she looked at me and said, "So, do you have a bunch of different decks that do different tricks?"... I said "No, I never use a trick deck of cards. Everything you see me do I can do with any deck". At that point, she was even more amazed.

Sometimes I am annoyed because it might be a stacked deck. But if it's an ACR, then I just find it funny and hand over the deck for inspection.

its a compliment, because the only way they beleive it could be done is a trick deck, but i know that it was all me. And then the reaction is elongated because they continue to be amazed as they look through the deck

It's an attitude thing.
I know someone who can do an ambitious card routine with an unsigned card without being accused of having duplicates.

If he can do an Ambitious Card routine wityhout suspicion of duplicates, doesn't that point to the possibility that it may be executed in a way in which the spectators know he's only just using sleight of hand?
To me, it's very satisfying to let my spectators examine my deck if they ask to (I said DECK you sick minded boy!).
