Anyone else absolutely PUMPED for this?? I'm going to see it in exactly 2 hours and 48 minutes. This has got to be one of the most highly anticipated movies in history. I tried to get a ticket to the midnight prescreening last night but they sold out three days ago! The best I could do was this afternoon.
I am especially excited to see Heath Ledger's character in full action in what I am told is an Oscar worthy performance.
Anyone else going to see it soon? Any thoughts?

Just got back... brilliance, absolute brilliance. Heath Ledger's performance was absolutely perfect, extremely believable and really scary as well. The whole movie was perfectly cast and a true work of art. _________________ Michael Kras

I saw it Friday at 1:00. The Joker was so perfectly portrayed.
There was a guy dressed as Batman outside of my theater who was posing with people. |

LOL wow... I can't tell you how many people I saw in Joker costume.
I especially liked the Joker's little "magic trick". My theatre went NUTS for that, applauding and cheering.
SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS
This is my theory on the boat scene, upon analysing the Joker's general behaviour and mental characteristics.
My theory is that, while he told them the detonator was to blow up the other boat, that the detonator would actually blow up their own boat.
If one boat decided to go through with it, they would actually blow themselves up and the other boat would have been totally unaware. The clock is ticking, and the second boat decides to go for it, blowing themselves up as well. _________________ Michael Kras

SPOILER!
I don't think so. Since neither boat pressed the button, there's no need for a twist like that. |

It wouldn't have been an explicit thing however, just tapping into the Joker's mind it seemed like a logical theory. _________________ Michael Kras

I dont know. I did not enjoy it. I personally think that Tim Burton's version is way better. It captures Gotham City so much better. And with Jack Nicholson as the Joker, I find the old one far superior.
Now if they Brought out the "RED RAIN" trilogy of Batman in a movie. HELL YEAH!!!
