How about, we have a weekly contest, or discussion or SOMETHING so people will regularly be on!

Ok I will, once MIke has changed my name back (which he changed for some unknown reason, which is probably because he's mad I won't tell him what I'm performing) _________________ "I lost a bundle of hundred dollar bills in an elastic".

Discussions can be whatever magic topic you want. I don't need to be the one to start them all!!! _________________ Michael Kras

Brainstorming makes for a useful and interesting discussion for a small number of people.
For example, there was a recent thread in the close-up section about the venerable thumbtip that went quickly through a list of "This is what I do with the thumbtip..." kinds of statements.
But what about brainstorming ways to accomplish traditional thumbtip tricks without thumbtips; or come up with innovative thumbtip substitutes?
I don't mean to de-rail this thread into a discussion on brainstorming thumbtips- a new one should be started for that- but the concept of brainstorming, thinking new thoughts about old subjects in a non-competetive and creative way, could spark some new interest in some of these old threads. Of course, one of the rules of brainstorming is that you NEVER reject an idea, no matter how crazy it first seems. Everyone gets to chime in and no one is put down with comments like "that's the stupidist thing I've ever heard." If you think someone's idea is stupid, then it is your obligation to twist it and make it work. Brainstorming is a lot harder than it first sounds. _________________ Professor Spellbinder

That would be a good idea for this thread. I will make it a forum Sticky.
And welcome back, Spellbinder! _________________ Michael Kras
