Hey everyone, last night I went to Niagara Falls with some of my friends from the magic club to see Greg Frewin. My "mentor" per se, who teaches me stage stuff every week, was best friends withi him as a kid, and they were both mentored by the same guy, Doug Bashum. So we got front row seats, free dinner and met him afterwards.
The show was AMAZING! It was at his own theater to begin with, which was excuisite. He included animals such as two tigers, a cockatoo, a parrot, like a million doves at one point, a baby lion and even a dog. He also had dancers, one of which was his wife and helped him with a lot of illusions. Best part: he vanished underneath a cloth and appeared IN THE MIDDLE OF THE AUDIENCE!
My favourite part would have to be this artistic act, where he had a box in which his wife went into, and on the table which the box was on was attached a mirror. He folded up the box and vanished her and evyerthing, then shattered the mirror underneath a cloth. He took shards than ran across the mirror, sword like shards (my favourtie application of the swords through box actually) and began to put them through it. And in the end, she reappeared inside when it was reopened and the mirror was fixed. Great act!
