Wow, crazy day.
We woke up, saw Steve Dobsen, Howard Hamburg and J.C. Wagner. Did some fun stuff. Got food.
Night!

Oh wait, did you want more info? Alright.
I woke up late and decided not to join the group for breakfast, deciding to shower and get food at the hotel. Steve Dobsen was up first. Although Steve wasn't feeling well he handled things very nicely. His talk on Jerry Andrus was a blast, and he is always awesome.
Then we saw Howard Hamburg. Although there was very little magic in the lecture Howard told some great stories and did more then enough magic in the jams.
Then we went to dinner (me, the Bucks, Theron, Ricky, Jesse Fineburg, and others) and went to see J.C.
The lecture was crazy. Not only was J.C. great but there was a cupcake fight (Ricky, Dan, what's wrong with you? I almost died!), crazy jokes, and a lot of playing with Pixel, new from the Buck's site (it's AWESOME- buy it and the Cherry control, you'll be wicked). Then we went to party.
Things got a little out of hand. I got to fool people bad with Canadian material (Vernon mostly, but also Ariel Fralich and my own) and have a few drinks. At about 2am we got yelled at for being too loud, so we were sent out of the hospitality suit. We went downstairs and continued jamming.
Highlites- one, fooling and impressing Jack Carpenter. Also getting to fool/show my magic to a lot of different people.
Seeing all the killer magic, and Ricky, you're the funniest guy in the world.
Lowlights- nothing. Yes, us.

I'm jealous of all of this. Cupcake fights? DAMN.
Pixel made me gasp when I saw the video... looks quite craaaaaazyy. I'll be picking it up if it has the Train Seal of Approval.
Sounds like you're having a blast out there. Steve Dobson is very good but I don't like his style... from what I've seen he's quite old fashioned. I'm a little bit old fashioned as well, but e does it... differently I suppose.
Getting yelled at... priceless. After seeing videos of how some of these guys rock a session, I'm not surprised. I remember jamming at CAM 07... there were quite patient with us. _________________ Michael Kras

Pixel might be one of the hottest things I've seen this year.
I cannot recommend it though, for the simple reason that I want to be the only one doing it.
